Biography

I would like to introduce you to Paul’s Journey.   We are a full time Gospel Music Ministry.  We travel about 200 days a year nationwide.  We want to present a program that is not only entertaining but uplifting to the soul as well.  Wherever the Lord sends us, we go with these thoughts in mind:  to lift up the name of Jesus, to see lost souls saved, and to see other Christians touched by God.

The ministry of Paul's Journey started over 37 years ago with four young men all related to each other.  Of course, many faces have come and gone since that time, but the calling and commitment of the group has never changed.  It's been a honor all these years to have served our Lord and to help spread the word of Jesus Christ through song and testimony.

The group was voted SGM FanFair Favorite Male Quartet in 2007.  They were awarded South Texas Association Group of the Year for 2001, 2004, 2007, and then again in 2014.  The group was also nominated for Diamond Award as Group of the Year in 2004.  They were also nominated for Horizon Group of the Year in 2012 and most recently was chosen by the Singing News southern gospel fans as one of the Top 5 Traditional Qt in the 2013 and 2014.  The group has sung on the NQC Main Stage for the last four years and will return again in 2014.  Our music can be heard on the radio and the internet all over the world. Paul's Journey has been featured on Paul Heil’s Gospel Greats several times and Solid Gospel Radio.

Rod Treme is the bass singer and manager of the group.  He is also a licensed, ordained minister.   Rod is an original member of the group and has written many of the songs performed and recorded by the group including “I’m On A Mission”, “The Almighty One”, “My Lord’s Coming Some Day”, “When I go Home”, and “A Boy Like Me”. He was voted S.T.G.M.A Male Vocalist of the year for 2004 and 2014. He was also voted at S. G. M. Fan Fair as one of the top five bass singers in the country.   Rod and his wife Dianne live in Magnolia, TX. They have three daughters, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Dennis King  is singing baritone for the group. Dennis comes from a very small town in West Virginia where he gave his heart to the Lord at the age of 12 during his first summer at church camp in 2000. It was the next few years that his love for singing evolved into a passion for worshipping the Lord. After graduating high school, Dennis began his singing career travelling all over the US with several gospel groups. He met the love of his life and her three children in the summer of 2009, and they were married January 9, 2010. Dennis, his wife Mindy, and their three children reside in Katy, Texas.

Dodd Meadows is the lead singer for the group. Dodd will also be using his many talents as an instrumentalist, and sound engineer.   Dodd also has a great call in his life for ministry, and we're excited that God has called him to be a part of our ministry.  He previously sang with "Jericho Road Quartet" and "Praise Inc." before joining Paul's Journey.   Dodd, his wife Diane and family currently live near Granbury, TX.

Stan Watson, our tenor singer, started singing at an early age with his family "The Singing Relations" in Southern MO. He also sang with "The Mystery Men Quartet" and filled in for "Driven Quartet" and "The "Kingsmen Quartet" before starting his group called "Faith's Journey".  Stan has a powerful tenor voice that will fit well with the sound of Paul's Journey.  He also has a great testimony of how God's grace changed the direction of his life forever.  Stan, his wife Jodi, and four daughters are from West Plains, MO.

We look forward to sharing our ministry with you!
